About the Author
Nadia Hashimi is the author of the national bestsellers The Pearl That Broke Its Shell and When the Moon is Low. Her writing has appeared in The New York Times, The Washington Post, and The Guardian. She is a graduate of Stanford University and the Johns Hopkins Bloomberg School of Public Health. She lives in Maryland with her family.
